The Vimsurf Extension

Vimsurf is a browser extension that runs entirely on your device. We believe your browsing habits are none of our business.

What the extension does NOT do:

  • ✕ Send your browsing history anywhere
  • ✕ Track which websites you visit
  • ✕ Collect any personal information
  • ✕ Phone home to any server
  • ✕ Inject ads or affiliate links

What the extension DOES store (locally):

  • • Your settings - Custom key mappings, preferences, excluded sites
  • • Marks - Your saved page positions (stored in browser local storage)
  • • Clipboard history - Your yanked text (stored locally, never transmitted)

All of this data stays on your device and syncs only through your browser's built-in sync feature (if you have it enabled).

This Website

This website is a static site. We don't use:

  • ✕ Google Analytics or any analytics service
  • ✕ Facebook Pixel or any tracking pixels
  • ✕ Cookies for tracking
  • ✕ Any third-party scripts that could track you

Your visit to this website is between you and your browser.
